    Hi Ed,

Enjoyed cruising my land with you today. What an eye for burls and chaga! You are too modest with the turning you do. After visiting your site today I realize that when you take one of your bowls to a fair or give to a friend, the woods walk with you.

Specifically, someone who harvests burls.

This addition to the show would be would be very last minute. So, if you are interested in talking more about burl harvesting and potentially appearing on our show, please email or call me ASAP.

Please check out some of programming here: http://www.halfyardproductions.com/productions

Nice site Ed ! I envy your wood supply. I would love to see the American Chestnut. Can you bring a piece to the next meeting?

Very nice website Ed. Your work is beautiful and very artistic. I love the “live edge” look! I might be interested in a curly maple bowl with a live edge for a fruit bowl at some point. I think a 12″ bowl is a little large- would a 9 or 10″ width be possible? As I mentioned to you it would be holding mostly bananas. I’m not in a big hurry for one as I have something I’m using but it pales next to the beauty that one of your bowls would add to my kitchen counter!

Enjoy the snow when it arrives! Julie

You did an awesome job setting up your website. Your knowledge of wood and woodturning is impressive and your wood turned pieces are beautiful. Thanks for stopping by our booth at the fair on Sunday. Joe

Ed, we love your bowls. We live in Virginia but try to visit the NH lake area every fall. Last year we purchased 5 of your bowls from the Remick Museum gift shop. We went there again today to see what you now have available. We will contact you directly or continue to stop in the museum over the next few weeks while we are in the area. We really appreciate fine woods. Monday night we heard Peter Boulce speak in Meredith about his wood lampshades, amazing. Hope to meet you soon.

Thank-you for your compliments. I will have more bowls for sale at the Harvest Fest. I will also be doing some small turning demonstrations if the weather permits. If you have something specific that you are looking for, let me know. I may be able to turn a specific bowl for you. I hope you can make it to the Harvest fest!! I look forward to meeting you or talking to you soon.

    Hi Ed,
My finish is a sealer coat of blo/dna/shellac. The final coat is lacquer. For every day use bowls I use beeswax/mineral oil. Like your site. Very nice. Keep up the good work.
